About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced Project Managers to support the delivery of sustaining capital works across a large-scale gold mining operation.

The Opportunity

Working within an owner's team environment, you will be responsible for managing or supporting the delivery of capital projects from concept development and funding approval through to execution and operational handover.

This role will suit candidates who are comfortable operating client-side, managing governance requirements, budgets, schedules, contractors and multiple stakeholder interfaces across active mining operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scopes of work and execution strategies with key stakeholders
• Prepare and manage project governance documentation including CP6 / Global Investment Process requirements
• Lead or support end-to-end capital project delivery from business case through to completion
• Coordinate key approvals including SRS, MoC, PEAHR, ONRSR and GTS requirements
• Utilise 1SAP for procurement, planning, scheduling and project coordination activities
• Manage contractors, consultants and operational interfaces across brownfield environments
• Track and report project performance across safety, cost, schedule and quality
• Support integration into operational environments while minimising production impacts

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience delivering sustaining capital projects within mining, rail, heavy industry or processing environments
• Strong understanding of project governance, capital funding and execution frameworks
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, forecasting and schedule tracking client-side
• Experience preparing business cases and capital funding documentation
• Ability to manage multiple work packages or large-scale capital scopes concurrently
• Strong stakeholder engagement and contractor management capability
• Engineering, construction or project delivery background preferred
• Candidates must clearly outline:
  • The package/project values they personally managed
  • Their direct responsibility for budget and schedule control
  • Experience managing packages valued above $5M

• FIFO 8/6 roster
• Fly out morning of Day 8
• Flights provided from Perth, Darwin or Brisbane
• Initial 6-month contract with strong pipeline of ongoing work
• Immediate start available
• Weekly pay available
