About the Role
You’ll be a key member of a diverse and experienced Mining team at Agnew Gold Mine.
Reporting to the Senior Engineer: Mine Production, you will be responsible for all mining aspects including the development and implementation of production plans in line with short to medium term planning targets.
- 8/6 FIFO from Perth roster
Key Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly production plans in line with operational targets.
- Ensure that stope designs and subsequent drill and blast plans maximise ore extraction and minimise dilution.
- Direct and lead all members of the technical and operational mining team and ensure goal unity through concise communication.
About You / Requirements
- Have a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven hard rock engineering experience, preferably gold, with exposure to all production phases including ventilation and experience in Drill and Blast, ideally Longhole Open Stoping and/or Inclined Room and Pillar methods.
- Exposure to Mining software Deswik CAD and UGDB would be highly regarded.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
