Electrical and Instrumentation Technician

A well-established mining operator is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join their site-based maintenance team on an initial 3‑month contract, with a strong possibility of transitioning to a permanent role.

This is a FIFO opportunity flying from Perth on an attractive 8:6 roster, offering long-term stability for the right candidate.

Your duties will include:

• Planned and breakdown maintenance of E&I equipment
• Fault finding and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems
• Calibration and maintenance of instruments and control systems
• Working with PLCs, VSDs and process control equipment
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety and compliance standards
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives onsite

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Australian recognised Electrical Trade Certificate
• Instrumentation qualifications (Cert IV or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a mining or heavy industrial environment
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
• Valid WA Electrical Licence
• High commitment to safety and teamwork
• Ability to commit to FIFO work on an 8:6 roster
