Our client, a proudly WA-owned and operated supplier to the construction and building industry, is currently seeking a qualified Electrician to join their team at the South Guildford site. This is an ongoing temp-to-permanent opportunity, offering long-term stability with a well-established organisation.
In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out breakdown and preventative maintenance on fixed plant and production equipment
- Fault finding, servicing and repair of switchboards, motors, drives and electrical systems
- Testing and tagging electrical equipment in accordance with Australian standards and site requirements
- Assisting with planned shutdowns and improvement projects as required
- Completing maintenance reports and project tracking documentation
Must-Haves:
- Relevant Electrical Trade Qualification and current electrical licence
- Proven experience working in a similar industrial or fixed plant environment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Current WA Driver's Licence with reliable transport
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
Roster & Pay:
- Monday to Friday - Day Shift only (may have potential down the track for a shift-pattern roster)
- Hours: 6:00am - 2:06pm
- Pay rate: $62.66 per hour + penalties + super
