Working closely with the Supply Superintendent and broader Commercial team, you will be responsible for coordinating procurement activities, supporting tenders, and driving continuous improvement across procurement and contract management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, tendering, and contract execution
- Coordinate procurement plans to support operational targets and budget requirements
- Provide insights on cost, availability, and quality of goods and services
- Administer and review contracts to ensure compliance and performance outcomes
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure contractual obligations are met
- Prepare reports on procurement, delivery timelines, and contract progress
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, company guidelines, and statutory requirements
- Identify and communicate risks related to health, safety, and environmental impacts

Requirements
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in procurement and contracts
- Experience within the mining or heavy industry sector
- Proven experience managing end-to-end procurement processes
- Strong background in tender preparation and contract execution
- Strong understanding of procurement frameworks and best practice
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail with strong time management capability
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Intermediate skills across Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong integrity, accountability, and decision-making ability
