The Role
As Contracts Advisor you will run the end-to-end procurement process, including preparing tender documents, coordinating sourcing activities, negotiating terms, and managing contract execution. With the guidance of the Group Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of the full lifecycle of procurement to support our major projects team.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assist with sourcing, tendering, negotiations, and contract execution
• Draft scopes of work, tender documents, and evaluation materials
• Support or lead negotiations on scope, terms, and conditions
• Prepare and maintain high‑quality contract documentation and approvals
• Keep accurate tendering records, correspondence, and contract registers
• Provide guidance to contract owners on contractor performance
• Monitor and report on contract performance, progress, and expenditure
• Maintain the contracts and tendering management system
• Deliver contract administration to ensure compliance and optimise outcomes

About You
You have a strong foundation in commercial and contract management, with well-developed skills in interpreting commercial terms, analysing contract performance, and managing documentation with accuracy and attention to detail. Your technical capability, combined with your ability to collaborate effectively enables you to guide and support contract owners, suppliers, and leadership teams with clarity and professionalism.

You bring:

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Law, Commerce, Engineering, or equivalent
• Advanced understanding of commercial terms, conditions, and common law principles
• Strong knowledge of contract and commercial lifecycle management
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and advise at all levels
• Genuine curiosity and the developed skills in asking insightful, clarifying questions to understand an issue
• Financial modelling and performance analysis skills, particularly using Excel
• Understanding of policy and governance requirements for large fixed and variable contract models
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• High attention to detail and accuracy
