What are we looking for?

We are looking for a highly motivated and influential CHPP Production Supervisor to join our safety and result-driven team. This position is permanent full time, working the lifestyle roster. We offer an attractive remuneration package including performance-based bonuses. Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Provide supervision and guidance in the safe execution of CHPP operations, including the clean coal stockpile dozer reclaim, train loading, inspection, repair and maintenance activities in accordance with Legislative requirements and in alignment with the Mangoola Health and Safety Management System.
• Actively participate in the support of asset management processes, including but not limited to planned shutdown isolation and task management, operational defect reporting as well as preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Control costs at the point of execution, consistent with operational budgets.
• Lead by example in providing visible, credible direction and mentoring to deliver safety and production outcomes as planned.
• Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance & workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the Mangoola Coal values.
• Promoting positive relationships with our stakeholders & community; and
• Taking all reasonable steps to minimise impact on the environment.

About you:

• You are trade qualified, Mechanical or Electrical (desirable)
• You have experience in fixed plant maintenance and mining management maintenance systems, policies, and procedures.
• You have experience in people leadership of personnel in frontline roles.
• You can demonstrate sound literacy in Excel, Word and other associated Microsoft packages.
• You have a high regard for your personal safety and the safety of your teammates.
• You have the ability to follow a plan and the resilience to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
• You demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to working proactively.
• You are a team player with a high level of safety awareness, an attitude for outstanding performance, and a willingness to contribute to a winning team.
