CHPP Operator Maintainer Oaky Creek Coal Tieri, QLD Employed under the Oaky Creek Coal Preparation Plant Enterprise Agreement 2023

Reporting to the CHPP Production Superintendent, an opportunity exists for an experienced Operator/Maintainer to join the Production team.

The Role:

• Full-time permanent role on even-time 7/7 day/night roster.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Operating and monitoring plant equipment and control systems.
• Monitoring process conditions and product quality, making routine adjustments to meet specifications.
• Performing regular inspections, mechanical servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Maintaining accurate records and supporting quality control activities.
• Maintaining high work standards and complying with documented procedures.
• Contributing to a positive team culture and promoting safe working practices.
• Acting as Supervisor or providing supervisory support as required.

About you:

Required

• Processing and CHPP maintenance experience.
• Current Australian-recognised mechanical or fabrication trade qualification (Fitter or Boilermaker)
• Current Standard 11 (Surface)
• Demonstrated critical thinking and technical problem-solving skills

Desirable

• Previous Supervisory experience
• Mining Supervisor G1, G8, G9 (formerly S1, S2, S3)
• Train loading and dozer operations experience
• Current Forklift, EWP, Non-Slew Crane, Dogging and Rigging certificates
