This is a unique opportunity to help shape the Gold Field’s new training framework from the ground up.

As a Training Advisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in establishing and operating a best‑practice Central Training Facility, supporting a seamless onboarding and training experience from day one. You’ll contribute directly to the Training Improvement Project, support the rollout of Verification of Competency (VOC) standards, and help build a high‑quality, centralised training environment that enables workforce capability and compliance.

This role will initially be offered as a two-year fixed term contract.

  • Ensure training rooms, equipment, PPE, and materials are available, functional, and fit for purpose
  • Maintain accurate training records, attendance, and competency data within the LMS
  • Welcome and induct trainees, creating a positive onboarding and learning experience
  • Support Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and maintain role-based training matrices
  • Support the development, implementation and ongoing management of Verification of Competency (VOC) processes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimise the training facility and training systems

About You / Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or working towards)
  • Solid strong computer and literacy skills
  • Experience with training needs analysis, competency-based frameworks, and adult learning principles
  • Knowledge of VOC processes and training compliance requirements
  • Confidence using Learning Management Systems (ideally SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Strong organisation, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for improving training quality, capability, and outcomes

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or working towards)

What's On Offer / Benefits

  • Permanent role with a leading gold producer
  • 9-day fortnight, hybrid working
  • Quarterly bonus up to 10% per annum
  • Private health insurance allowance
  • 5 weeks annual leave, long service leave after 5 years,
  • Paid parental leave
  • $10,000 employee referral bonus
