Yard Person

About the Role

Our client is a renowned mining owner/operator. As a result of an increase in their workload, they are seeking an experienced person to join their yard.

• Hours: 6 am–4 pm
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Location: Guildford
• Long-term role

Rates

• $45.40 casual
• $63.56 × 1.5
• $81.72 × 2
• $99.88 × 2.5

Duties

• Material handling: Load, unload and organise materials, equipment and stock.
• Equipment operation: Operate 3T and 16T forklifts, loaders, trucks, light vehicles and excavators.
• Yard maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe and organised yard and worksite.
• Safety compliance: Follow WHS procedures and wear required PPE.
• Loading and dispatch: Receive deliveries, pick and pack orders, and load transport vehicles.
• Yard security: Secure stock and maintain tools, machinery, equipment and storage areas.

Requirements

• At least 2 years’ experience with mining or industrial parts.
• Forklift experience with Ugly Freight (3T–16 tonnes).
• High-risk forklift ticket.
• HR driver’s licence.
• Loader and excavator ticket and experience.
• Fit, healthy and able-bodied.
• Able to pass a medical and DAS.
• Statutory declaration / NPC within 12 months.
