Techforce is partnering with a Tier 1, market-leading underground mining contractor, seeking experienced underground operators to join large-scale, high-production gold operations across Western Australia and South Australia. With premium rosters, ongoing work, and a genuine pathway to permanent employment, this is your chance to work with a well-resourced underground team where safety, teamwork, and performance come first.

The Role

You will be part of a modern underground operation supporting production across multiple work areas using latest-generation Sandvik and Normet equipment.

Fleet & Equipment

• Jumbo: Sandvik 422i Dual Control
• Loaders: LH517i with AutoMine Production
• Trucks: TH663
• Charge-Up: Normet emulsion charge units with Dynos
• Longhole: Sandvik 432i with tele-remote & e-tramming (surface-based operation)

Roster

• 14 days on / 14 days off

What You Bring

• Minimum 6 months underground mining experience
• Relevant RPLs, ITs, or operator tickets highly regarded
• Current Australian Manual Driver’s Licence
• Full Australian working rights
• National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
• DGSC
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & D&A
• Physically fit and comfortable working underground

Pay Rates (Indicative – based on role & experience)

• Truck Operator: from $55/hr+
• Service Crew: from $57/hr+
• Charge-Up: from $67/hr+
• Bogger / Longhole / Jumbo: highly competitive, site-based rates
• Shiftboss, Fitters, Electricians: also required

(Rates vary by role, skill set, and experience)
