Working closely with supervisors, trainers, and operational leaders, you’ll help drive compliance, performance, and continuous improvement across site operations.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Training Advisor who thrives in a fast-paced mining environment and is passionate about supporting people to succeed safely and confidently in their roles.
Reporting to the Training Superintendent, you will support the Production department by coordinating and maintaining training systems, competency compliance, and workforce development activities across site.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating training and competency requirements for Production personnel
- Maintaining training records and compliance systems
- Assisting with onboarding and site inductions
- Supporting Verification of Competency (VOC) processes
- Liaising with supervisors and operational teams regarding workforce capability
- Scheduling training activities and monitoring compliance deadlines
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the training function
- Ensuring training documentation aligns with site and legislative requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in a mining training or training administration role
- Strong understanding of mining competency and compliance requirements
- Experience using Learning Management Systems and training databases
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong computer skills across Microsoft Office applications
- Current Driver Licence
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly regarded)
Qualifications & Certifications
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Driver Licence (required)
