Tradesperson - Fitter

About the Role

Join our Mobile Maintenance team as a Fitter, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining and servicing our fleet of mining equipment. You’ll work on a 7:7 rotating day and night roster in a supportive and well equipped environment that includes a clean workshop, modern crib room, and fully stocked tool store.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Performing servicing, breakdown repairs, and preventative maintenance on mobile mining equipment including Liebherr excavators, CAT loaders, trucks, graders, and dozers.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with Evolution Mining’s standards.
• Participating in fault finding, condition monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborating with other trades and maintenance staff to support operational goals.

About You

You’re a qualified Mechanic (Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology) with:

• At least 2 years’ experience in mobile equipment maintenance (mining experience desirable).
• Familiarity with Caterpillar, Liebherr, or Hitachi equipment.
• Tickets - EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry and CN (Crane Non Slewing) are highly regarded.

You bring:

This roster is 7:7, 12 hour shifts.
