This is your chance to join our world‑class Component Rebuild Centre as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Plant Mechanic, working hands‑on with advanced tooling, iconic Caterpillar machinery, and a team committed to excellence.

Roster: Monday to Friday – 5 days on, 2 days off; 10.5 hours per day (inclusive of 30 minute unpaid meal break)

Key Responsibilities

• Rebuilding, repairing and assembling transmissions, torque converters and other powertrain systems
• Conducting inspections, diagnostics and precision component work
• Delivering high‑quality workmanship that supports Australia’s mining and construction industries
• Every day brings variety, technical challenge, and the satisfaction of working on world‑class Cat® equipment.

About You / Requirements

• Australian‑recognised trade qualification (Light Vehicle, Heavy Duty, Bus/Truck Mechanic)
• Experience with Caterpillar or dealership environments (advantageous)
• Component rebuild experience (highly regarded)
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
• Understanding of JSA, Take 5s and safety processes
• Dogging and forklift tickets (or willingness to obtain)

• Australian-recognised trade qualification (Light Vehicle, Heavy Duty, Bus/Truck Mechanic)
• Dogging ticket
• Forklift licence
