About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Grade Control Drill Fitter to join our Mining – Drill & Blast team at our Admiral WA operations. This will be on going, long-term project work.

Both full-time and casual positions available. FIFO from Perth. Roster 2:2 or 2/1 (weeks) – day shift only.

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Project staff in all aspects of the daily business activities associated with the maintenance services on Site.

This role would ideally suit someone who has a positive attitude towards safety, training & environment. Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing scheduled drill servicing across Sandvik Leopard and Epiroc D65 rigs
• Performing unscheduled repairs
• Technical guidance & field service support to operations personnel
• Training & support to other SRG employees
• Liaison with OEM’s & suppliers on technical issues

The successful applicant will have:

• Heavy Rigid (HR) Divers Licence
• Drill Fitter Trade Certificate
• Grade Control Experience
• A working knowledge of Epiroc D65 / Sandvik Leopard equipment
• Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment

Desirables

• Refrigerant Handling Licence
• High Risk Work Licence - HRWL - DG (Dogman) or RB (Rigging)
