• 1 x Tig Welder

• Location: Canning Vale
• Workshop based
• Monday to Friday
• 6am/7am Start – work an 8-hour day (40 hour week base)
• $55 - $60 p/hr + penalties (depending on experience)
• Immediate start

Key Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminium and other metals.
• Perform flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) on heavy structural and industrial components.
• Carry out welding, fabrication and repairs on heavy equipment, rigs or mining-related equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans and welding specifications.
• Set up welding equipment, select appropriate settings and prepare materials.
• Complete high-quality welds to required WPS, quality and safety standards.
• Conduct visual inspections and identify weld defects or inconsistencies.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

• Relevant trade qualification with experience
• Forklift ticket (highly desirable but not essential)
• Gantry crane ticket (highly desirable but not essential)
• Good level of physical fitness, with the ability to perform manual and labour-intensive tasks
• Full working rights
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
• Ability to pass weld test before commencing
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol tests
