The Opportunity
As a Workshop Technician in our Mackay branch, you’ll join a global OEM known for reliability, innovation and long-term career development. This workshop-based role gives you the chance to work hands-on with Komatsu’s industry-leading equipment, performing maintenance, repairs, diagnostics and data downloads to keep our customers’ machines operating at peak performance.
You’ll be part of a high-performing, supportive Mackay branch with strong leadership, a collaborative culture and a reputation for quality workmanship. Your day-to-day work will involve troubleshooting, interpreting technical drawings, using onboard computer systems, and producing accurate service reports, all while building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Roster: Monday to Friday – 6:00am to 2:30pm
Role Located: Mackay – Bosso Street

What we are looking for
- Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter or equivalent
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and compliance
- Ability to diagnose, repair and maintain Komatsu equipment
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings
- Strong communication skills and customer focus
- Experience with troubleshooting and workshop procedures
- Valid motor vehicle licence
