About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced high volume Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team located in Brisbane CBD. This opportunity provides high volume recruitment to business leaders across our Aluminium portfolio and partners with wider teams across the APAC region.
Your role will be to engage with talent across the mining and resources industry focusing on increasing diversity within our operations, while managing priorities and keep recruitment moving in a fast paced environment. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Team Lead, you will:
- Identify key talent and pro-actively build and engage with your talent pools
- Establish, develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure clarity of strategy and the translation of this into an effective recruitment strategy
- Facilitate and support end-to-end recruitment activities across multiple sites within the business with a strong focus on people, processes and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with the wider people experience team and business leaders to understand the workforce plan and hiring requirements to ensure sourcing strategies meet the business needs
- Utilise reports and analysis of recruitment activities as a basis for continuous improvement in stakeholder relationship by highlighting concerns/issues and providing appropriate recommendations
- Provide regular pre-defined recruitment and sourcing key performance indicators, metrics and progress updates as required
- Identify and recommend areas for improvement in recruitment and sourcing processes within Workday
- Deliver exceptional candidate care to potential employees, ensuring a smooth onboarding process
- Elevate our employer branding through online platforms promoting Rio Tinto as an employer of choice
About you
- Strong capability managing high volume recruitment within a fast-paced environment
- Capability to travel to regional sites bimonthly to lead assessment centres
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Extensive recruitment experience gained across either or both internal/external recruitment environments
- The drive to attract and select candidates from a diverse group of backgrounds and in various market conditions
- Comfortable and confident overseeing and advising on a large portfolio of roles
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure gold standard processes are followed, thus delivering a consistent recruitment experience
- Creative, outside of the box thinking and appetite to challenge the status quo of how we recruit best in class talent to meet current & future demands
- You will be quality driven to ensure that candidates have a positive and engaging experience throughout all processes
- A dedicated, professional and tenacious style; you will be a partner to the leaders with exceptional communications skills
