We are currently seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to support processing plant infrastructure activities within a major mining operation.

This role will suit someone with strong mining infrastructure and brownfield processing plant experience who is comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams within a live operational environment.

The Opportunity

Working within a TSF team, you will provide structural engineering support across processing operations, ensuring safe and compliant outcomes across operational mining infrastructure.

You will work closely with site teams, consultants, and contractors to support inspections, remediation activities, infrastructure upgrades, and ongoing engineering support within an operating plant environment.

Bilingual candidates are highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide structural engineering support across processing plant infrastructure
• Conduct structural inspections, assessments, and technical reviews
• Review engineering drawings, calculations, and contractor deliverables
• Support remediation, modification, and upgrade works within operating facilities
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering, construction, and operational teams
• Ensure compliance with site engineering standards and relevant Australian Standards
• Support construction, installation, and commissioning activities onsite
• Assist with risk assessments, change management, and engineering governance processes

About You

• Degree qualified in Civil / Structural Engineering
• Strong brownfield processing plant and infrastructure experience preferred
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Bilingual capability highly regarded
