Project Engineer - TSF Construction Projects

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) construction and infrastructure projects within a major mining environment.
This role will suit someone with a strong civil or mechanical background who is comfortable working across project engineering, planning, scheduling, and construction coordination within a live operational environment.
The Opportunity
Working within a multidisciplinary project team, you will provide project engineering and planning support across TSF construction.
You will work closely with project managers, site teams, contractors, and engineering consultants to support safe and efficient project delivery across mining infrastructure projects.
Bilingual candidates are highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery of TSF construction and infrastructure projects
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, and site stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project schedules and reporting documentation
- Monitor project cost, progress, and productivity performance
- Support project governance, forecasting, and change management processes
- Review technical documentation, drawings, and scopes of work
- Assist with construction coordination and field execution activities
- Ensure works are completed in line with site safety and compliance requirements
- Participate in project meetings, planning sessions, and reporting activities
About You
- 5+ years' experience within mining, infrastructure, or construction projects
- Civil or Mechanical Engineering background preferred
- Experience supporting HME, TSF, earthworks, or mining infrastructure projects highly regarded
- Strong project engineering and planning/scheduling capability
- Ability to work across both office-based planning and field execution activities
- Experience working within brownfield or operational mining environments
- Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills
- Proficient with project scheduling and reporting systems
- Engineering consultant or construction contractor background highly regarded
- Bilingual candidates preferred
