About the Role
As a Store Person at Pioneer Water Tanks, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring accurate stock control, timely receipt and dispatch of goods, and seamless inventory management. Based in our Bellevue, WA facility, you'll handle deliveries, liaise with suppliers, maintain records, and operate forklifts to distribute materials efficiently across departments. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and clear communication to support smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received;
- Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock;
- Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items;
- Packing incoming stock away, taking inventory and reporting shortages;
- Updating inventory management systems regularly;
- Picking and delivering goods by using a forklift;
- Organising and delivering goods from the store to the department that requires it;
- Keep computer records and paperwork up to date;
- Cross reference goods against details on invoices.
About You / Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar position or industry
- Highly responsive to changing priorities through quick decision making
- Ability to work competently under pressure and lead by example
- Understand and uphold the Pioneer Water Tanks cultural expectations
