Your new role

As a Solution Architect, you will take ownership of defining the end-to-end architecture for a major transformation initiative. You’ll work across both business and technical domains to shape the solution landscape, ensuring alignment between requirements, systems, and future operational needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing the overarching solution architecture across enterprise and operational systems
• Defining integration patterns, architectural standards, and non-functional requirements
• Producing high-quality architecture artefacts and guiding governance processes
• Supporting procurement activities, including vendor engagement, evaluation and solution assessment
• Translating business needs into scalable, secure and resilient solution designs
• Providing strategic guidance to support key program decisions and future delivery phases

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect within complex, large-scale programs
• Strong background in integrating enterprise IT with operational or control systems
• Experience working in environments requiring high availability, resilience and security
• Demonstrated ability to support procurement activities and evaluate vendor solutions
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and communicate at all levels
• Ability to operate autonomously and drive outcomes in an evolving program environment
