About the Role

• The safety and health of all persons and equipment in and around the mining operation
• Ensure compliance with the Safety and Health Management System (SHMS)
• Demonstrate visible leadership by guiding the Mining team to achieve KPIs
• Display a strong commitment to identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities and supervision of an efficient production team

About You

• Hold a QLD Shotfirer Licence (required)
• QLD Mining Supervisor S123 Competency
• Possess strong leadership capabilities
• Have a proactive attitude to safety and a strong work ethic
• Demonstrate flexibility and excellent teamwork in working with others in the business
• Exhibit strong communication skills
• Have strong drive to learn and grow in the role

About Rolleston Open Cut

Rolleston Open Cut is a 16Mtpa thermal coal mine located in the southern Bowen Basin in Central Queensland. With a long life of mine and low operating costs, the mine has a bright outlook. Since 2005, we have grown to become one of the largest surface mines in Australia, whilst continuing to foster a culture underpinned by safety, achievement, flexibility and teamwork to improve the skills of each and every person on the mine site every day.
