Senior Structural Engineer

Our client is a well-established engineering consultancy for the mining and resources sector. With a strong track record in design, project execution, and optimisation, they provide expert services to support mineral processing, materials handling, and infrastructure projects across Australia and the wider globe. As a result of business growth, they are currently seeking a Lead Structural Engineer / Senior Structural Engineer to join their team.

This role offers high-quality rates (negotiable based on experience) and the opportunity to work on major mining infrastructure projects.

The Role
You will be working on a variety of different design projects related to the Iron Ore / Gold / Nickel and various other mining commodities. Our client is strongly focussed on delivering the highest construction quality solutions, incorporating the use to the 3D technologies to assist where appropriate. You will be working closely with major mining operators, as well as leading a tight knit team of Structural Engineers. 

About You
To be successful in the position, you will require the following:

• Degree qualifications in Structural Engineering
• At least 5 years + experience as a Structural Engineer - with any design background considered
• Previous experience managing a team of design professionals
• Good interpersonal and report writing skills.
• High level communication skills
