About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Management Accountant to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Commercial Manager and work on an 8:6 roster. Your focus will be on supporting cost and capital reporting, driving variance analysis, and partnering with the business to improve efficiency.

Your Primary Responsibilities

• Development of capital and operating budgets and forecasts.
• Maintenance and development of internal and external cost and capital reporting, including variance analysis.
• Support month-end activities such as accruals, cost allocations, and inventory adjustments.
• Manage the full capital lifecycle, from proposals to project close-out and depreciation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with departments to detail, document and report on business efficiency and improvement initiatives, and improve processes using the group ERP system.

About You

Our ideal candidate is a hands-on Senior Management Accountant with strong skills in budgeting, reporting, compliance, and process improvement, who can drive cost and capital efficiency across the business.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting; CA or CPA qualification is desirable.
• Proven experience in cost and capital reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
