The Opportunity

We’re looking for a passionate Senior Specialist – Environment to join our Environmental team at Tropicana Gold Mine.

Reporting to the Superintendent: Environment Operations, this pivotal position operates on a 4 days on, 3 days off roster, ( however flexibility is available to the right applicant) with direct flights from Perth.

This is your chance to play a key role in shaping environmental performance, supporting compliance, and driving continuous improvement across site operations.

What You’ll Do

• Leading environmental compliance and regulatory obligations activities
• Provide trusted environmental advice and direction to site leadership
• Develop and implement environmental improvement strategies
• Manage environmental projects and budgets
• Conduct routine audits and inspections
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Mentor and support environmental team members

About You

You’re someone who brings both expertise and curiosity — someone who wants to make a real impact*. We are looking for:*

• A strong commitment to safety and sustainability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Broad understanding of mining operations (exploration, mining, processing, maintenance)
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science (or equivalent experience)
• Proven senior-level, site-based experience
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, risk, and hazard management
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Requirements:

• National Police Clearance
• Permanent Australian work rights
