S26 Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Statutory Supervisor (S26) to support earthworks and road maintenance operations at a remote mining site. You will play a key part in coordinating and overseeing day-to-day activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
You will support operational planning, supervise site personnel, and ensure all works meet client and site standards while maintaining a strong focus on safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise site personnel.
• Monitor performance and provide coaching, feedback, and support.
• Assist with conflict resolution and team management.
• Foster and promote a strong safety-first culture.
• Assist in coordinating and delivering works within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Support planning, scheduling, and effective resource allocation.
• Monitor work progress, quality, and productivity.
• Act as the primary point of contact in the absence of senior leadership.
• Assist with managing scope changes, risks, and operational challenges.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate operational documentation..
• Liaise with internal teams, contractors, clients, and stakeholders.
• Represent the organisation professionally at all times.
• Liaise with external authorities where required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Statutory Supervisor S26 Certification;
• Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience in mining or civil operations;
• Strong understanding of OH&S practices in a mining environment;
• Proven ability to manage scope, schedules, and budgets;
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening;
• Full Australian working rights.
