About the Company

Join a leading mining services provider supporting underground operations across Western Australia. We are seeking a safety-focused and self-motivated Rock Tool Technician / Contract Operative to support drill rig productivity through the delivery, maintenance, refurbishment, and management of drilling consumables.

Rock Tool Technician / Contract Operative to support drill rig productivity through the delivery, maintenance, refurbishment, and management of drilling consumables.

Key Responsibilities

  • FIFO across various WA mine sites
  • Flexible rosters including 8/6, 9/5 and 2/1
  • Opportunity to work autonomously while being supported by an experienced team
  • Long-term career development within a growing mining services environment
  • Deliver and replenish drilling consumables to underground drill rigs
  • Inspect, repair, refurbish and sharpen drill bits and tooling
  • Monitor stock levels and complete inventory reporting via tablet-based systems
  • Conduct quality inspections and maintenance of drilling consumables
  • Liaise with operators and site personnel to ensure operational requirements are met
  • Maintain high safety standards and compliance with site procedures

About You / Requirements

  • Previous underground mining, maintenance, tooling, service crew or drill consumables experience is highly regarded.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily priorities
  • Current Manual C Class Driving Licence required
  • Forklift Licence, First Aid and CPR highly regarded
  • Physically capable of working in an underground mining environment and undertaking manual handling duties

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Required Certifications: Manual C Class Driving Licence
  • Preferred Certifications: Forklift Licence, First Aid, CPR
