About the Role

Loader Operator / Excavator Operator – Quarry Operations – Full‑time Casual | High‑Volume Production Environment | 45–50 hrs/week with overtime available

We are seeking experienced and safety‑focused Loader Operators and Excavator Operators to join our high-performing quarry team. In these roles, you will support production by operating plant safely and efficiently within a fast-paced, high-volume environment, assisting with load-out, stockpile management and general quarry operations. This is a full-time opportunity offering consistent hours (45–50 hours per week with overtime available) and stable ongoing work.

Key Responsibilities – Front End Loader

• Operate loader safely and efficiently within a busy quarry environment
• Load customer trucks accurately and promptly to meet delivery requirements
• Manage stockpiles to maintain product quality and site efficiency
• Maintain haul roads and clean up stockpile areas
• Conduct basic quality assurance checks on materials
• Complete daily pre-start checks and report maintenance issues
• Communicate effectively with weighbridge and production teams
• Follow all site safety, traffic management and environmental procedures

Key Responsibilities – Excavator Operator

• Safely extract and load raw materials such as rock, sand and gravel
• Feed crushers and screening plants to support production
• Load trucks and assist with stockpile management
• Operate heavy earth moving equipment in line with site procedures
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and report faults
• Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure safe interaction with plant and personnel
• Strictly adhere to all site safety, environmental and operational protocols

About You

• Proven experience in quarry, mining or civil environments
• Loader Operators:
  • Valid Loader (LL) ticket – essential
• Excavator Operators:
  • Valid Excavator ticket – essential
  • Demonstrated excavator operating experience
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance
• Understanding of product quality and basic QA processes
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
• Willing and able to work 45–50 hours per week minimum
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen & Pre-employment Medicals
