Project Lead (Front end loading)

You will be joining a large, established mining operation with strong forward planning requirements and a consistent pipeline of early ‑ stage project development work. The site operates on an 8/6 FIFO/DIDO roster from major Queensland hubs and offers a structured, safety ‑ driven environment focused on improving asset performance through disciplined front ‑ end loading and financial ‑ year readiness. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values proactive project planning and technically sound decision ‑ making.

Your new role

As the Project Lead (Front-End Loading), you will take ownership of early ‑ phase project development, ensuring all work fronts are thoroughly scoped, assessed and planned before progressing to execution. You will engage with stakeholders, analyse availability and operational requirements, and develop clear pre ‑ feasibility inputs that support strong financial ‑ year planning. This role is ideal for someone with a technically grounded background who enjoys shaping projects from the ground up.

What you’ll need to succeed

• A strong mechanical background (electrical also considered)
• Demonstrated capability in early ‑ stage project development
• Experience engaging and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to conduct pre ‑ feasibility level assessments and present clear recommendations
• Skills in availability analysis and early ‑ stage scoping within a mining or heavy ‑ industry context
