Production Worker / Machine Operator / Forklift

Our Client, a WA owned supplier to the construction and building industry, are currently seeking production workers / machine operators to join their team for an ongoing to permanent basis. We have x2 current vacancies at their Middle Swan site for an immediate start.

The Role
This position will see you reporting directly to the Production Supervisor working against the fixed machinery in the manufacturing facility. You will be required to complete the following duties:

• Monitoring and operating factory machinery / equipment
• Isolating machinery in the case of process or mechanical issues
• Following quality control procedures
• Forklift operation

Requirements

• Previous machine operating experience / factory environment
• Must have a current driver's licence and own vehicle to get to work
• Ability to work on a continuous shift roster (days and nights)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
• Must have a current LF forklift ticket and experience
• Confined Spaces / Working At Heights / Gas Test (highly advantageous)
• Be Permanent Resident of Australia with full working rights (sorry no working holiday visa's)

Shift Pattern:
84-hour fortnight, 7 shifts per fortnight, you will never work on a Sunday although your roster will see you work 1 Saturday every 6 weeks. 12-hour shift; 5am - 5pm and swapping over to nights 5pm - 5am each 3 weeks.

Pay Rate:
Hourly rate of $48.75 p/hr (flat) + super (penalties apply should you work outside your regular shift pattern)
