Production Operator

About this role

Production Operators to join our client's Subassembly and Soldering teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy practical, technical work and have a keen interest in electronics, precision assembly, and quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual and machine-assisted assembly of electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical components and subassemblies.
• Carry out hand soldering and basic solder operations in line with work instructions and quality standards.
• Prepare parts, tools, fixtures, and equipment required for daily production tasks.
• Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
• Follow written and verbal instructions, work orders, and production drawings to ensure correct assembly.
• Perform visual inspections and basic quality checks to identify defects and ensure finished assemblies meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area; comply with all workplace safety and quality procedures.
• Support general production duties as required, including packaging, labelling, and documentation.
