PMO Lead - Engineering Standards Review Location: Perth CBD (Hybrid options available)
Rate: Market‑aligned hourly rate + Superannuation
Contract Duration: 9‑month contract through to December 2026

Lead a High‑Impact Engineering Transformation in a Global Mining Environment Are you motivated by complex engineering challenges and ready to drive a business‑critical standards overhaul within a major mining organisation?

This newly created role places you at the forefront of a significant engineering transformation. You will establish and lead a PMO, modernise engineering standards, streamline technical governance, and influence decision‑making across multiple engineering disciplines. Your work will directly improve safety, consistency, and operational excellence in a large‑scale industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the Engineering Standards Review PMO
• Coordinate SMEs across engineering disciplines
• Drive the structured review, consolidation, and retirement of engineering standards
• Improve document governance and alignment with ISO‑style asset management principles
• Manage program reporting, tracking, and benefits realisation
• Support communication, change management, and stakeholder alignment
• Contribute to modernising the Controlled Document System (CDS) and document hierarchy

What You Will Bring

• Strong background in engineering standards, document management, or technical governance
• Experience leading PMO, program, or large‑scale review initiatives
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience in mining, resources, heavy industry, utilities, or complex engineering environments
• Familiarity with document control systems (CDS or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering degree and/or Project Management qualifications
• Experience with ISO‑aligned asset management frameworks (e.g., ISO 55000)
