About this role
- Operate and monitor fixed plant equipment across smelter operations
- Maintain safe, efficient production processes
- Conduct routine inspections and basic fault finding
- Follow standard operating procedures and site safety requirements
- Work collaboratively within structured crew teams
- Complete accurate reporting and shift handovers
Is this you?
Essential:
- Experience in heavy industry (mining, smelting, manufacturing, or similar)
- Strong safety mindset and ability to follow procedures
- Willingness to work rotating rosters including night shifts
- Physically fit and able to work in hot, demanding conditions
- Strong team orientation and communication skills
Highly regarded tickets / experience:
- High Risk Work Licence (Forklift, EWP, etc.)
- Confined Space / Working at Heights
- Front End Loader or mobile plant experience
