The Role

SRG Global is seeking qualified and experienced Pipefitters to join our team for site-based work across the Kwinana Industrial Area and multiple locations throughout the Southwest. With a strong pipeline of shutdown activity, this is an excellent opportunity for ongoing work with a reputable, growing company.

• Site-based roles
• Multiple locations across Kwinana and the Southwest
• Ongoing work with a strong forward pipeline
• 12-hour shifts during shutdowns
• 10-hour days during pre- and post-shutdown work
• Immediate start
• Overtime opportunities available

Key Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, isometric drawings and specifications
• Removing, replacing and modifying pipework, valves, flanges and fittings during planned shutdowns and maintenance outages
• Measuring, marking, cutting, beveling and preparing pipe using hand and power tools
• Fitting and aligning pipe, valves, flanges and fittings ahead of welding
• Performing tack welding if qualified, or working closely with welders
• Using equipment such as band saws, pipe threaders, grinders, hydraulic benders and lifting equipment
• Checking dimensions and quality to ensure work meets project specifications and tolerances
• Working safely in live plant environments, following site permit and isolation requirements
• Working as part of a team to meet tight shutdown schedules

The Successful Applicant Will Have

• Australian-recognised trade certificate or Certificate III in Pipefitting
• Working Safely at Heights (completed within the last 2 years)
• Confined Space Entry (completed within the last 2 years)
• High Risk Work Licence (WP desirable)
• Valid driver’s licence
• OHS Construction Induction Card (desirable)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screening)
• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in shutdown or industrial maintenance environments
• Willingness to travel to different sites and work flexible shutdown rosters
