Payroll Officer

About the Company

This leading ASX listed company that is going through a growth phase is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their growing team. This full-time permanent role will be based on site at their Woolloongabba offices, which does offer public transport options and paid parking options are also close by.

About the Role

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Setting up new employees on the payroll system
• Manual timesheet checking and entry
• Preparing and processing multiple weekly & fortnightly payrolls
• Payroll reconciliations
• Preparing payroll tax, superannuation and PAYG
• Handling payroll queries via phone and email

About You / Requirements

• Previous payroll experience within a medium to larger environment
• Previous experience with award interpretation
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Strong Excel skills
