About the Role:
This role is responsible for providing overall coordination and management of plant and equipment. Provide administration support to the hire plant team. The role is required to ensure all related plant hire activities comply with the requirements of the NRW Maintenance Management
As a Fleet Coordinator, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Source and supply internal and external hired light vehicles in line with NRWCM-AM-PRO-0006 based on project requirements delivering to site on time and budget whilst following company policies and procedures
- Negotiate light vehicle hire rates and responsibilities with external suppliers and ensuring the light vehicle meets client and NRW minimum specification
- Meet or exceed budget expectations for all externally hired light vehicles
- Accurately create hire agreement templates in line with the agreed responsibilities
- Coordinate pre-hire inspections, ensuring equipment is compliant with NRW specifications, site requirements and fit for purpose
- Accurate entry of all data
- Providing administrative support to relevant department
- Assist the Hire & Maintenance Coordinator with off hire charges
- Manage Personal Properties Security registrations in line with NRW policies
- Maintain a database of records for internal & external light vehicles
- Ensure site costing database records have correct allocation and rate schedules
- Add new and update equipment records in NRW systems as required
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the external suppliers and employees

- Provide support to the Hire & Fleet Coordinator
- Perform any additional tasks as directed which are within your skill, qualification, and competence level.
To be considered for this position you will require:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role, including fleet coordination
- Experience in data collection and analysis
- Proficient with modern IT applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
- Previous experience in the civil and mining industries
- Familiarity with light and mobile plant
