Dalgaranga is our newest long-life, high-grade underground mine, northwest of Mount Magnet. With the Never Never and Pepper deposits, it strengthens our long-term production and feeds the Mount Magnet hub.

The Role

We're looking for a mechanically minded Paste Fill Operator to run daily paste activities for the Dalgaranga mining team.

As part of our newly formed Paste Plant team, you'll safely operate the newly commissioned underground Paste Plant and make sure paste production meets quality standards and underground demand. You'll monitor plant performance, complete routine inspections and help keep the paste system running reliably.

You'll work an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, with accommodation and facilities a short drive from the mine.

What you'll do

• Monitor plant performance and production rates to maintain consistent quality and output
• Carry out inspections, housekeeping and general preventative maintenance to keep the plant safe and reliable
• Identify and report faults, process issues and hazards, contributing to a proactive safety culture
• Support start-up, shutdown and isolation activities, working closely with Underground Operations to meet production targets
• Accurately complete operational checks, records and shift reports in line with safety and environmental standards

About You

You're a safe, mechanically minded operator with a good understanding of process plant equipment. You pay attention to detail and can spot early warning signs such as unusual noise, vibration or performance changes. You enjoy a positive team environment and take pride in contributing to underground mining success.

You'll bring:

• Experience in mining, mineral processing or fixed plant operations (paste plant or similar process equipment experience is highly regarded)
• Mechanical aptitude, with the ability to identify and respond to equipment issues
• A strong commitment to safety and a proven record of following operational procedures
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Proficiency with computer-based and operational systems
• A current Australian driver's licence
