Part Time Temporary Forklift Operators

Pearl Recruitment are currently seeking reliable warehouse workers for an ongoing opportunity with their client, a well-established national logistics service provider based in Forrestfield.

The role will initially involve 3 days per week, with the roster subject to change depending on workload and performance.

Temporary Forklift Operators

• Forrestfield location
• $35–$40.00/hr + Super + Penalties
• 8:00am–4:00pm | Initially 3 days per week

What Will You Be Doing?

Working as part of a small warehouse team, your duties will include:

• Unloading containers manually and using a forklift
• Picking and moving stock throughout the warehouse
• Operating a forklift with a clamp attachment where required
• Regularly getting on and off the forklift to assist with picking and unloading
• Reading and cross-checking product descriptions against stock
• Using RF scanners to assist with warehouse operations
• Completing general labouring and manual handling duties
• Maintaining an organised and safe working environment

What Are We Looking For?

• Current LF forklift licence is essential
• Previous clamp attachment experience is highly regarded
• Experience in container unloading, picking or general warehouse duties
• Ability to read and accurately cross-check product descriptions
• Experience using RF scanners
• Physically fit and comfortable with regular manual handling and frequent movement on and off the forklift
• Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
• Availability to work 8:00am–4:00pm, initially 3 days per week
