About the Role
As a Road Train Operator with MLG Oz, you’ll be a key part of our operations, safely transporting materials across a variety of on-road and off-road routes while delivering outstanding service to our customers.
Industry-Leading Equipment
You’ll be working with a modern, well-maintained fleet, including:
- Kenworth & Mack trucks
- 18-speed Road Rangers & Automatics
- Triple or Quad Side Tippers
- CAT & Komatsu Front-End Loaders
What You’ll Be Doing
- Safely operating road trains in line with all road and site regulations
- Completing pre-start and post-trip inspections to keep equipment in peak condition
- Self-loading and unloading materials using front-end loaders
- Accurately recording mileage, fuel usage, and delivery schedules
- Following company safety, maintenance, and operational procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Current and valid MC Licence with relevant endorsements
- Commercial Driver Fatigue Management Certificate (within 2 years)
- National Police Clearance
- Proven experience carting triple side tippers and self-loading with a front-end loader
- Confidence working in both on-road and off-road environments
- Strong safety mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
