About the Role

SRG Global Mining Services is looking for skilled MPU operators to join our long-term Goldfields project. You’ll be working with a professional team that values clear communication, safety, and efficiency backed by competitive pay, modern equipment, and industry-leading facilities on an 8:6 roster - Day shift only.

This role relies solely on the operation of an MPU safety and productively to deliver bulk explosives down the blasthole, management of the bulk explosives compound and the day-to-day operation of the MPU truck.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate MPU trucks to transport materials and equipment within designated areas of the mine site or industrial facility.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and routine maintenance on MPU trucks to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials onto/from MPU trucks using appropriate equipment and procedures.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies while operating MPU trucks
• Maintain accurate records of truck operations, including mileage, fuel usage, maintenance activities, and incident reports

About You / Requirements

• Heavy Rigid (HR) Drivers Licence
• Dangerous Goods Drivers Licence
• Dangerous Goods Security Card
• Pumping emulsion/goldfield experience
• Experience in operating IEE Triple type MPUs
• Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment

Desirables

• Telehandler operation experience
