About the Role

This is an exciting time to join NRW Civil and Mining as we are now seeking an experienced Mining Supervisor for newly awarded work in Darwin. This role will be offered on a DIDO basis from Darwin on a 2:2 roster or FIFO from Perth or Adelaide or Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and practices and conduct daily safety reviews and inspections
• Prioritise resources, machinery and people to ensure Daily Mine plan is achieved and production maximised
• Monitor and evaluate performance throughout the shift to identify variance from the production plan and act where necessary
• Work with Maintenance Supervisors to implement maintenance plans
• Manage and assess training requirements of your team
• Prepare accurate and timely production and labour reports
• Providing initiatives to improve the Project

About You / Requirements

• Previous experience as a Mining Supervisor
• Extensive practical knowledge and experience in mining operations
• Good working knowledge of the Mines Safety Act and Regulations
• Experience in the operation of Heavy Mining Earthmoving equipment
• Ability to lead, develop and mentor workforce
• Strong time management skills
• Strong communication and organisation skills
