About the Role
Reporting into the Operations Supervisor, the Material Handler will join our parts and logistics team on a Full-time permanent basis at our Perth Branch. This role involves safe and efficient movement of machinery and materials on-site, including assisting with crane operations, stocktaking, cleaning and performing manual tasks.
Roster: Monday – Friday, 10.5 hours/day (including meal break)
What You’ll Do:
- Loading and unloading machinery
- Moving machinery and materials around the site
- Washing and preparing machines for release
- Complete movement requests in a timely manner that is requested from the Workshop
- Assisting with crane movements and spotting team members
- Stocktaking attachments and equipment
- Manual handling tasks
- Working both independently and as part of a team
Skills & Experience:
- Forklift Licence
- Previous experience operating machinery
- Strong attention to detail, especially when preparing machines for customer delivery
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Dogging and rigging tickets (desirable)
- Basic Traffic Management (desirable)
- Working at Heights Certification (desirable)
