Maintenance Planner - Olympic Dam

As one of the largest contractors on site, Redpath delivers Shotcreting, Cablebolting, Batch Plant services and Fleet Maintenance, with operations ramping up significantly since our new contract commenced in July 2023. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our Olympic Dam team. Working an 8/6 roster (12-hour shifts), you will play a key role in supporting asset reliability, planning efficiency, and maintenance performance across our underground fleet.

Responsibilities

• Managing maintenance data, systems, and databases
• Scheduling and planning maintenance activities
• Submitting asset disposal requests, management of change, and CAPEX plant applications
• Managing rotatable components and inventory requirements
• Conducting failure analysis and providing recommendations to improve reliability

About You / Requirements

• A mechanical or electrical trade qualification or tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills
• Experience with heavy mobile plant (preferred)
• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
• A valid manual driver’s licence
• A proactive attitude aligned with Redpath’s motto: “Consider it done — safely.”

Qualifications & Certifications

• Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification
• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• Valid manual driver's licence
