About the role
In this permanent, full-time role based at Kathleen Valley, the Production Engineer is part of Liontown's high-performing production team that’s passionate, solutions-focused, and driven by the opportunity to build something new. Reporting to a Senior Production Engineer, you’ll support the safe and efficient delivery of our underground mine plan while helping us set the standard for what “great” looks like in underground lithium mining.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement drill & blast designs (Deswik or similar)
- Daily production monitoring, tracking, and data analysis
- Short-term scheduling across development, stoping, services, maintenance, and backfilling
- Support the ramp-up of stoping activities
- Collaborate with technical and operational teams to continuously improve performance
- Contribute to operational readiness activities for upcoming infrastructure and production changes

About you
- Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent underground operational experience
- 2–5 years in underground production engineering roles
- Experience in drill & blast design essential (Deswik preferred)
- Backfill experience highly regarded (our paste plant is coming online soon)
- Understanding of Australian mining practices and safety standards
- Confident communicator, collaborator, and problem-solver
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and pass a pre-employment medical and D&A screen
