Description & Requirements

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, our Engineering Construction division is seeking experienced Lead Project Engineers to join the team.

This role will initially be based in our Perth office, supporting early project phases including ECI, planning, and mobilisation, before transitioning to site during execution.

This position offers full lifecycle exposure - from project startup through to construction and closeout - along with a clear pathway into Project Management for those looking to step into senior leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Project Managers to ensure project objectives are met on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Provide offsite engineering support, working across a suite of projects and assisting with ECIs, tendering, and delivery of live projects.
  • Manage the interface between the engineering and project delivery teams to maintain compliance with the specifications, schedules and contract.
  • Lead and oversee workpack development, as well as assist in planning, scheduling, and executing the scope of work, including organising project resources, equipment, and materials/procurement.
  • Lead and supervise the resolution of technical queries as required.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to other members of the Engineering team.
  • Compile schedule, cost, progress and forecast reports for the project; ensuring all schedule reporting requirements are met.
  • Provide support to the project team and implement best practice on the project.

What you’ll bring:

  • Extensive experience in Project Engineering on large-scale resources construction projects for similar companies.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant discipline.
  • A methodical approach, high attention to detail and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of own work.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a delivery-focused mindset and high level of self-motivation to meet tight schedules.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
