About the Company

Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production. Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, we are transitioning to a ‘hub-and-spoke’ model where ore is transported to our centralised mill for processing.

The Nitty Gritty

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, as a Jumbo Operator you will be responsible for advancing underground development safely and efficiently. You’ll carry out development drilling, charging, and ground support, while maintaining safety, identifying hazards, and meeting site standards.

About You / Requirements

• Demonstrated competence in the safe and efficient operation of the jumbo drill and installation of ground support.
• Demonstrated to be capable of meeting productivity standards (metres advanced).
• Demonstrated ability to read ground conditions and drill designs.
• Demonstrates an ability to undertake daily servicing and routine maintenance of the jumbo.
• Good all round work performance and positive attitude to HSE and the care of equipment; and
• Competent in peripheral tasks (basic road maintenance, services) and service checks, maintenance on equipment.
