About the Company
Murrin Murrin Operations has an opportunity for an experienced IT Field Support officer to join our established and dedicated team.
Murrin Murrin Operations is Australia’s largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. Our Murrin Murrin site in WA’s northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. The Role
Provide a high level of IT customer support across the business including:
- Configuration, installation, testing, monitoring and maintaining IT hardware and software
- Receiving and responding to incoming calls and emails
- Providing on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end-users
- Liaising with 3rd party support and PC vendors
- You will also be called on to provide input into IT projects
About You
This role would suit a qualified and experienced IT professional with:
- Demonstrated experience within a level 2 support role
- Excellent technical knowledge of PC/desktop hardware/internal components
- High proficiency in supporting Windows 11, and the standard operating environments
- A strong understanding of ITIL based service desk systems
- Highly effective interpersonal, customer service and documentation skills are essential
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology will be highly regarded
- Current and valid C Class Manual Driver’s Licence
