Murrin Murrin Operations has an opportunity for an experienced IT Field Support officer to join our established and dedicated team.

Murrin Murrin Operations is Australia’s largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. Our Murrin Murrin site in WA’s northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. The Role

Provide a high level of IT customer support across the business including:

• Configuration, installation, testing, monitoring and maintaining IT hardware and software
• Receiving and responding to incoming calls and emails
• Providing on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end-users
• Liaising with 3rd party support and PC vendors
• You will also be called on to provide input into IT projects

About You

This role would suit a qualified and experienced IT professional with:

• Demonstrated experience within a level 2 support role
• Excellent technical knowledge of PC/desktop hardware/internal components
• High proficiency in supporting Windows 11, and the standard operating environments
• A strong understanding of ITIL based service desk systems
• Highly effective interpersonal, customer service and documentation skills are essential
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology will be highly regarded
• Current and valid C Class Manual Driver’s Licence
