Your Opportunity

Primero is seeking HSE Advisors to join our Projects Team. We’re expanding our HSE team due to a number of newly awarded projects.

Roster: 2:1

Your Key Responsibilities

• Understand and communicate Primero HSE procedures and legislative requirements on site in accordance with the project specific HSE Management Plans.
• Undertaking daily HSE inspections and observations on site.
• Play an active role in the delivery of HSE topics in the weekly toolbox and daily prestart sessions.
• Assisting with fitness for work requirements and daily welfare checks.
• Coach and guide HSR’s in their legislative HSE requirements.
• Provide support guidance to employees in the creation of risk assessments (JHA’s, Permits)
• Maintaining HSE notice boards.

What You Can Do

• Possess a Certificate IV in Work, Health and Safety (Minimum requirement)
• Have a minimum of 3+ years' experience within the construction industry
• Demonstrated site experience in a similar role
• Hold a current Provide First Aid / CPR certificate
• Experienced with Incident Investigation Training (ICAM/Tap Root)
• Have a OHS Construction Induction White / Blue Card
• Demonstrate the Right to Work in Australia
• Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screen
