HR/Payroll Officer

Join a major mining operation and provide end‑to‑end payroll support for a large workforce. This role suits an experienced Payroll Officer or a strong HR Officer looking to grow in a fast‑paced, high volume environment.

Your new role

FIFO | 5/2 and 4/3 Roster | 12‑Hour Shifts

This role is based on site and is a 6-month role with the possibility to move to permanency.

What you’ll do:

• Support payroll for 720 permanent employees
• Handle high volume transactions including leave adjustments, discrepancies, allowances & enquiries
• Work across systems such as Ellipse, Workflow, Outlook, Power BI & internal HR/Payroll tools
• Manage payroll cut‑off deadlines and follow up on overpayments
• Assist HR with position changes, probation tracking, phone screening & general enquiries

What you'll need to succeed

• Experienced Payroll Officer or a strong HR Officer with excellent administration skills
• Experience across a wide range of system
• Someone eager to learn and keen to work in the mining sector
